Inter-Rater Reliability among Dentists for Assessment of Depth of Impacted Third Molars on Orthopantomograms

Objective: To assess the inter-rater reliability of dentists regarding assessment depth impacted third molars on Orthopantomograms Methods: A cross sectional comparative study was conducted in College Dentistry, Sharif Medical and Dental College, Lahore which from four different specialties namely; Oral Pathology, Endodontics, Prosthodontics Maxillofacial surgery were included as raters. The December 2020 to February 2021. total 21 assigned each rater for assessing angle molar. classification impaction used Winter`s classificati1. raters provided with OPGs a proforma recording their observations. Results: level agreement observed between 1 2 (κ=.692, p≤0.001) 3 (κ=.639, very strong but moderate 4 (κ=.538, p=0.001).
